They get 4 instead of 5 because they didn't communicate as well as I thought they should. Angelo's wife called me saying my car was working but then called 20 minutes after saying it stopped working. She said she would call me back to let me know what was wrong. She never called me back, so I had to call the emergency number to see what was up. Angelo said they still needed to look at it but I wanted my car back due to taking two days off already. He said I can pick it up the next day which means I have to take more time off of work. If she called me back like she said she would I wouldn't have to take additional time off.

What can I write but thank goodness for the honesty at this shop. They tell you what is wrong and the right way to fix. Even if it's bad news they deliver the correct solution to solve the problem. They have repaired 3 vehicles for me and I will continue to bring them my business. A family repair center that has experience and cares for what they do.

These guys are the real deal. I've now had half a dozen interactions with them as they've pretty much rebuilt my 540i (bought it w/ a blown motor, they had to start there). They're experts on these cars, not to mention card-carrying enthusiasts. They continually impress me with their diagnostic skill and quick turnaround all the while providing overwhelmingly friendly service. Thank you APP for making my 16-year old car feel like new!

This review is - embarrassingly - years overdue. I cannot rate Angelo, his wife and son - high enough. It might sound corny, but.............they treated me like family. So nice. So thorough. So good at what they do. I had purchased a used 1999 BMW 540iT wagon from a private party. Soooper kewl car. The guy I bought it from turned me onto Angelo and his family. It was a higher mileage car - remembering 150K or so - and with that, had tickey tack stuff go wrong with it (stuff that happens with older cars). Angelo and crew took care of all the stuff that would come up - at a huge savings relative to dealer prices. Something was not operating correctly with the transmission - a number of months after I owned it. I mentioned it to Angelo. He asked me to leave the car with him. At a substantial cost to him: removal, fix/rebuild, reinstall - and relatively small cost to me (again - versus what dealer would have charged)...............he took care of issue. I ended up trading the car for a pickup truck a little while later and have .............sadly.................never been back to say hello. I always intend to drop off cookies/candy/something around the Holidays, flowers on Mother's Day or ???................but I never do. THEY WERE THAT NICE TO ME. So, hopefully Angelo and crew will see this review and know that they have a lifetime fan. If anyone else reads this review: You can rest assured that you and your car will be well taken care of - by great folks that will treat you both...........like their own.

Finding an honest, reliable and trustworthy mechanic has been a challenge, as most of you probably know. So, when a friend told me about Angelo's Performance Plus, naturally I was skeptical. But Angelo proved to be all those things I was hoping for. Not only did he do a great job on my BMW repairs, his prices are very fair too. I live in Folsom and I don't mind traveling to Rancho Cordova for guaranteed professional car service. I'm that pleased. Anytime my BMW needs repairs, I'm taking her to see Angelo.

Thank you Michael, Gus, and Angelo. It's great to find a place that specializes in Mini that doesn't just say they do. You can tell these gentlemen love these cars and I had a great conversation with Angelo about potential modifications to mine, several of which he has made to one of his cars. I hadn't spoken to Michael for more than 1 minute on the phone and he already had a great handle on my issue and gave me a preliminary diagnosis. I ran my car in and Gus confirmed that diagnosis and got the parts on the way. I was back up and running in less than 3 hours and for hundreds less than the Dealer would have charged me (I called them as well). Mini owners are very passionate about their cars and you can tell these guys are passionate about the work they do. My Mini had found a new home for service!!!

I had a great experience. Never heard anyone who has not. Angelos Performance Plus has been in business for 39 years! They are fair with pricing and they know what they are doing. Try them. Mr Wilson must have the wrong shop. They don't operate like that.

I was new to the Sacramento area, looking for a non dealer service center for my vehicle. I broke down on the side of the road coming home from downtown sac, and found angelos on google. I saw that they offed a 24 hr emergency service, and arraigned for a tow. Angelo met me at that evening and was even able to secure a rental that same evening. this was defiantly the kind of above and beyond i was looking for.
